A few pictures (just in case you don't actually believe I'm here)

(A few of these pictures were taken from a moving tour bus, so I apologize if there are weird glares or anything)

Number one of the set is a lovely picture of my room with some aweome curtains. The bed is terribly hard and uncomfortable and the pillow is flat, but at least the pillow case matches my quilt, right?

The next photo is of the other corner of my room. It is such a blessing to have my own sink in the room. There is so much that a sink is useful for, and I think that WashU, with all of it's lush, palatial dorms, should incorporate them.

Here we have the view from my window...I'm on the first floor (read: one up from the ground) and I face east. Love the architecture.

A view of the South Downs from the bus.

Some Brits playing football and blocking up traffic with all of their cars.

Say hello to the sea! And the marina! Which is a bustling place of activity.

The infamous Brighton Pier, which we have heard so much about. Obviously there will be a better picture, at some point, with the pier. But for now, the quick pic from a bus will have to suffice.

Cute seafront properites. I would also like to take the time now to note the sunshine. Yes, it was sunny for a brief period of time today. Which was really exciting because I think it was the first time I've seen actual sun since being here.

The Royal Pavillion! See what I mean about it being ostentatious? You can't take pictures of the interior, so I only have exterior shots, but use your imagination withe what the inside looks like.

Well, I guess there's no point in being kingunless you can spent excessive amounts of money on party palaces. If I were Queen, that's the first thing I would do. (By the way, old Queen Vicky hated this thing. When she was in power, she removed anything of value from the interior and brought it to Buckingham Palace. She wanted to demolish the building but the Brighton City Council bought it from her. Today it is the only Palace in England owned by a City Council)

A view, post tour, when the sun decided to, once again, hide away and rain instead.

Cute Brighton street (one of many)! Of course the "sun" is starting to set, which means it's probably about 3:30 in the afternoon.

Why are those English telephone booths? Indeed they are! I refrained from jumping into them at this point...something to look forward to!
